Yes i had the same problem, (It also exist under some solaris destribution)
Oracle tries to install a *map file into a directory that doesn't exist. (i
forgot which dir)
(thats a stupid bug, cause oracle should created the dir)
Create the directory manually with the ORACLE unix user account and
continue. set the wright permissions and continue.
