I read this back to myself and it was not as clear as it could have been...

A 16bit app needs 16bit sqlnet and thus a 16bit client to be installed. A 32bit app needs 32bit sqlnet and thus a 32bit client to be installed.

If your app is 16bit and I assume it is as it used to run under win3.x then you will need to install a 16bit oracle client under win95.
