Your app must be a 16 bit app to run on win 3.11
So it sounds like you have installed 32bit client for win95 this will fail
as a 16bit app on win95 will only talk to the 16bit client!!!
Plus will connect cos it is a 32 bit app and will therefore talk to 32bit net !
