Mostly, you're up S...-creek. Talk to the f/w makers to see if they have implemented the patch that allows for IP-forwarding to be worked on INSIDE the ORACLE SQL*Net packet. Otherwise you'll sure get invalid packet trace messages (f/w changes address of envelope but leaves IP-address inside the data packet sent by SQL*Net untouched).
