It should be pretty much the same as connecting to any other database. You need entries in your TNSNAMES.ORA files with the proper host and domain info.

There is one caveat -- it is the same provided that SQLNET is NOT BEING BLOCKED BY THE FIREWALL -- you need to talk with the network admin to check this out.
