I have heard rumour that Oracle and Digital are informing customers that
support of VAX/VMS will be dropped at 23:59 on 31st December 1999.



Has anyone any more information on the matter?



Is this Oracle ending support of the database on VAX/VMS?



Is this Digital ending support on the operating system?



Is it strictly VAX/VMS or  VAX/OpenVMS and Alpha/OpenVMS also?



What versions of the operating system?
