Re: Handling GoldenGate upgrade when upgrading Database

This is the process:

1. Database running 11.2.0.4 with GoldenGate 12.1.2 for 11g
2. Database is upgraded from 11.2.0.4 to 19.0
3. GoldenGate 12.1.2 must be upgraded because it does not support 19c Databases and also because the GoldenGate 12.1.2 installed supports 11g database only

So in step 3 what should I do, according to 2092450.1 I can simply copy goldengate process related files from old goldengate to the new goldengate for 19c RDBMS like .prm and .cpe. But if I use 2657958.1 I have to recreate all extracts and replicats. I wonder which approach is the recommended way? I have tested copy goldengate process related files from 12.1.2 OGG to 19c OGG and seems that it works (I didn't get any errors).
