Hi,
I'd take objection to "Exadata patching is included in the purchase price of Exadata appliances". Are they really being sold as appliances? Somewhat misleading, I'd say.

In my experience over the past 18 months or so, they most definitely are *NOT* appliances.

I've never updated firmware on my toaster, but I have on an Exadata. Only one of them is an appliance.

jason.
