Thanks for everyone for their response.
I currently run the awr, addm reports.ash reports I was looking for scripts to query the awr history tables.

I would like the flexibility of querying the tables, and gathering the information I need in 1 report, instead of looking at numerous awr, addm reports.

It doesn't have to be, but oracle itself has already done a generally pretty good job of analysis on the awr data for the period concerned. I'd always read that first.

Why does the addm report have to be run before the awr script?

$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/awrrpt for a start.. run the addm report from the     same place first though..
