Brandon, page space is not the same as maximum page table size. Can you please do ipcs -a and see what amount of shared memory is there and who owns it?
Maximum page table size for the shared memory is likely to be by a parameter like SHMMAX. I know AIX is specific, so the parameter might be named differently.
