*grin* Kinda. As far as I know, we do not gather any explicit stats on the system objects. But I have 40 objects from this query:

  1 select TABLE_NAME,COLUMN_NAME,NUM_DISTINCT,NUM_NULLS,SAMPLE_SIZE   2 from dba_tab_cols where NUM_BUCKETS = 1 and HISTOGRAM = 'HEIGHT BALANCED'
  3* and owner in ('SYS','SYSTEM')

According to dba_histograms, they all have 1 row (as you mentioned). Not a big deal, just another quirkiness. A good thing the density is not "height balanced". =)
