GATHER_SCHEMA_STATS

Hi All,


 We use the DBMS_STATS.GATHER_TABLE_STATS & DBMS_STATS.GATHER_INDEX_STATS to
collect the index and table statistics for ALL of our schema tables &
indexes.



Would like to know if we use DBMS_STATS.GATHER_SCHEMA_STATS instead of the
prior approach, then will their be any benefits and vice-versa?
