Subject: Linux RAC and asynch io/IO slaves

Regarding RAC on Linux RHAS 3.0, are any of you running with asynch = enabled at the OS and db level or runing with an IO slaves implementation? Have = you any experience positive or negative in regards to either method on Linux....is asynch io stable...do Io salves perorm as well as on other = OS's.

Also, in terms of RAC and IO slaves....
I know one can only run with one arc proces in RAC..do IO slaves pose = any conerns there? David
