Hi Jack,  

Install Oracle on Novell is very easy, it's similar that other OS We have many databases installed on Oracle Enterprise Edition 8.1.7 and Novell 5.1
One server contains 2 instances  

Steps to install:

1. Load the content of the CDROM: CDROM
2. Launch the installation of Oracle: NWCONFIG
3. Select 'Products not listed'
4. Select 'Install a product not listed'
5. Give the path 'O8INW:INSTALL\NETWARE'
6. Look for the file 'PINSTALL.NLM'

Hi All,    

I was asked to one of these days install oracle on novell. I have no experience with novell so I am now checking if there are any pitfalls I should be aware of.  

I have already checked and figured out that only 8.1.7 on novell 5.1 is supported.    

Anybody with some input???
