Good luck -- you're going to need it.
This view was valid in 7.3.4, but is no longer valid in 8i. I opened up a tar with Oracle on this view, and they were unhelpful in the extreme. I only found 1 reference in Metalink, and it just says that the view is invalid in 8i.

Your best bet is to remove the view before you upgrade. (Same is true of x_$kcbrbh)
