Re: Post IOUG impressions

It was great to see everyone again - and great to see the new faces to put with names...

I've been going to the IOUG conference regularly for about five years and this was the best yet. Technical content was excellent. I did miss a few of the people I'm used to seeing there who didn't come this year though (John B and Gaja in particular, but some others also).

I downloaded all the files (about 2-3 hours of point and click) and burnt about a dozen CDs, giving them away to friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who would take one. They lasted until about noon Tuesday. I also spoke to a few members of the committee about an easier way to download... They were *very* receptive to the idea.
