Just to add my experience

On HP_UX 11 64 bit

While compiling report on 64 bit HP UNIX we were having this problem with Report version 1.6.1 and work around was to compile it on 32 bit platform and copy rdf file to 64 bit machine...Our databse version is 7.3.4 and Oracle Financials 10.7

Rafiq

Hi,

Thanks for the ideas.

-->$ file core
core: core dump, generated from 'r25run'

Does that mean it's an oracle issue?

Any ideas how to do the equivalent in the VMS world?

Hi,

First of all, we should identfy what casues this problem.

If not,

Identfiy which process causes the core. In unix:

$ file <core_file>

If it points Oracle, generate stack trace from core file and email us.

best regards...
