It works both ways. My english agent phoned me and
told me she was heading out to Oz for a couple of
years. She was taking her motor scooter because she
intended going around the continent "scooting from
village to village"...
I have visions of skeletal remains next to a scooter
just outside Eucla underneath the "Next Petrol: 500km"
sign.
