You can walk in the first accounting firm and ask them to set up a limited company for you. costs around $350. As far as I can remember (1996.) the best jobs available were in the telco country, around Bishopsgate/ London Bridge/ Broadgate Center area and they used to work with a few body shops. One that I have decent experience with was called "Oric". Things have probably changed since then. Other then that, London is beautiful town, even if they are driving on the wrong side of the road.
One last thing: do you know what is the difference between an Aussie and a 747? It is that 747 stops whining at Heathrow.....
