8.1.7 required a bit of work...
9iR1 never did work
9iR2 was fairly simple

The Dell is a fast machine with some nice ultra wide SCSI ports.

The Sun is a low end server.

Dell doesn't have anything that will keep up with Sun's more $$$$ offerings.
