tnsnames error

  I am getting an error when I try to connect to the DBA Studio of Or9iAS the error is " failed to parse tnsnames.ora file" Error:100 --NLNV-NLNV String format error. I tried to recreate a new tnsnames,but again shows the same. Do any body know how to rectify the error.
