Have you designed and implemented a database before? Got sharp analytical skills? ready to move into the latest and greatest area of IT - DATA WAREHOUSING?? Boston Manufacturer with 700 employees and over 200 Million dollars in sales seeks a data warehouse administrator to manage its Global data Warehouse.  In this position you will plan and facilitate with high level managers, users and analysts to agree on functional scope, goals and constraints of the system. You will be the primary liaison between the end user and IT technical/development staff to ensure things work and get developed. DBA skills include ensuring data recovery, consistency and availability along with routine database installs , maint. & tuning. You will need to prepare and administer the YEARLY warehouse budget and expenditures. The formulation and administration of data warehouse policies and procedures in collaboration with other IT technical/development staff will also be a major tasking.

This is cutting edge technologies such as Visual Basic, NT & networking with novell, nt and unix. OLE2 and Pc experience is also desirable. 4 year degree of military experience desirable. Supervisory and project management skills will come into play to be successful.
