As far as I know, D2K either refers to Developer 2000, which mainly consisted of Forms 4.5, Reports 2.5, or to Designer 2000, which referred to versions 1.3.2 and the likes.

If I recall correctly, Forms 6i was never shipped under any D2K flag.

D2K is developer 2000 and forms 6i are referred to as D2K.
The questions given in FAQ in orafaq are the most asked questions in the interview.

No, D2K is used for both Developer 2000 AND Designer 2000

Why wikipedia when you can use the official documentation?
I can change wikipedia page and put in it something wrong, I can't change Oracle documentation.

Wikipedia is written by anyone that wants to write something.
If you want you can add a page on you but take care that it is not yours and everyone can change it.
Didn't you see the "Edit" buttons/links in the page(s)? Click on it and you edit and change the page.

Regards
Michel

Nobody.
It is a cooperative and (in almost all cases) convergent process.
It is like in forum. I can answer what I want even if it is plain wrong but swiftly someone will say "hey this is wrong".
The difference is that in wikipedia, this person will edit what I wrote to post the correct answer.
It is based on the assumption that there are more persons that want to help and improve and they are more motivated on the pages they wrote than persons that want to corrupt these pages or post wrong information.
Some French politicians beared the cost of some silly jokes in their pages.

Michel

Apart from that, it says nothing about D2K not being Designer 2000 and it says nothing about Forms 6 still being addressed as Developer 2000.
The only claim is
Quote:

Oracle Forms (part of the Oracle Developer Suite - formerly Developer 2000

Wikipedia is great as a source of information, but it should never be the only source. This goes pretty much for almost any information found on the internet. Except for documentation provided by the manufacturar of software, all sources should be treated as potentially 'flawed'.
