Hi barbara:
thanks for your input, my java code ran for three months without any error, and suddenly once a while got this kind of error(SQLException e), output e.getmessage()indicates "Closed Connection ", if code has problem, it won't work at the first place, but this month got this kind of error twice.

Without more details, it is hard to guess what the problem might be. As you pointed out, if the java code ran before and you haven't changed it, then it is not likely the direct source of the problem. I suggest that you look at what has changed and what fluctuates from time to time that might account for it working sometimes and not others. Are you perhaps running out of space or memory of some kind or having some sort of network traffic problem? You might want to try some kind of tracing to try to figure out the problem. Is there an error stack that you can check to see what happened before the "closed connection"? That is about all I can suggest without more details.
