Hi,

I am new to Oracle replication.it would be greate if some one
can tell me what are the basic requirements for setting up oracle database replication.

Should both the PCs have the same OS?
Should both the oracle database version be the same (32 bit or 64bit)?
Does it work through a VPN connetion?

I am trying to set up replication between two oracle 10g databases(between a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version) through a site to site VPN connection.The OS also is different one is Open Suse 9.0 (32 bit)and the other one is SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (x86_64)64 bit version.Does it work?
