Hi,

I'm new here. Need guidance from you all.

I'm trying to install Developer 2000(Form 4.5) on Windows XP(SP 2) in a new path C:\ORANT but encounter the below error :
"nt.stp(905): The specified registry file is invalid"


My default oracle home is Oracle 9i. I also have Oracle 6i ( Oracle reports 6i) and Oracle 10g (Oracle Discoverer 10g) installed. All in different folders.

Please advice how do I solve this problem.

Did you read installation guide? If not, read it.

Did you check whether this Developer version is certified with this operating system? If not, it *might* get installed, but it will probably not work or work and behave very strange.
