Hi All,

I have a unix file in read only mode (444) on Unix box - AIX 5L. I would like to send this file in email from Unix as emailthrough mailx command.
Now what I want is when user open this file and save it to disk it will save only in read only mode so that user can't edit this file.

If anybody knows this solution then please do reply to me. This is very urgent.

Why is it urgent for volunteers to solve this problem for you?
What does this poblem have to do with Oracle?

pre-process the file into a .PDF or similar and send that. There is no way to enforce permissions of a file saved by a client out of your control.
