Hi All,

I'm new to this group.I come across an issue with oracle connection string, saying connection string is too long. My front end appl is VB6.0 and back end is oracle 9i. Is there any limitation on connection string or on service name that we create in Net manager. I'm able to see the issue when the service name is greater than 6 chars in oracle 10g( oracle),but in oracle 9i it is even with 5 chars.
