Hello!
I am a career changer learning PL/SQL. I downloaded the personal version of 9i (trial license) so that I may practice running queries. My OS is Win Me. After installing 9i, I tried to open SQL Plus. After typing in User Name:(System) and Password:(Manager) and Host String: (blank), (which I thought were the defaults), I get an Oracle 9i Startup dialog box asking for a password again to get into Oracle 9i. The Oracle sales staff suggested "Scott Tiger" but that didn't work either. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance. Eric
