Hi all,
I am perform a conversion of a 8.1.7 Failsafe installation from Win NT4 to Win 2k.
At both installation, the cluster is setup in the way that only a single disk resource with 2 Partitions is available. Suppose one for quorum and one for data file.
The installation of the new failsafe is fine until the procedure to "Add the standalone Database to group". In the lower part of the dialog required me to select a group to add, but no entry is available  . After a little experiment, I find out that the dialog will omit the group contain the Failsafe service itself (which is in the only one resources group I have). As a fail workaround, I can't add the Database service to a new group also due to the data disk resource is at the original group.
The config at the existing NT4 cluster is as follow
Group 1: Oracle Failsafe (with no disk resources)
Group 2: Oracle Database Service and the Disk resource
I could 't reproduce this under the Win 2k cluster
Any help and input with this is highly appreciated
