hello
i'm begiiber in oracel .whats the real different between oracel editions
i want to do same work that i did in sqlserver (such as crate database and ..). next what edition i shoud of oracel i shoud to install and what type of windows also xp or server.

This quesiton is probably asked a million times and answered.
Just search the forum, google yourself.

Working on the latest version is best. In this case oracle 10gR2.
If this is just for oracle know in a low level, it is better to use the Oracle Express Edition (Oracle XE).
Oracle XE consumes less resurces,more user friendly with the GUI interface called HTMLDB and is free.
