Hi Friend(s),

Our in house developed web base Tool{wrote by Java and using Oracle db(8.1.7)} became unstable periodically. Bouncing Tomcat(version 3.2.2) always clears things up. please help me find solution to fix it. I am suspicious of the connections between Tomcat and Oracle. but don't know how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

What does your problem have to do with Oracle, if bounce Tomcat clears the problem for a while?
It sounds to me like the problem is with Tomcat; not Oracle.
Here is what we know.
1) you have a problem
2) Do not know OS name or version
3) Do not know any specific error message or number

P.S.
My car is broken. Please tell me how to fix it.
