Doubt in OCA Certification [message #183802]

Hi everyone..

I read a message in our Forem that "1Z0-042 Oracle Database
10g: Administration" is enough for OCA.
Although in DBA pool (https://www.dbapool.com/ocp.php), it says
that 2 papers are to be cleared that is:
1. 1Z0-007 Introduction to Oracle 9i SQL Exam
2. 1Z0-031 Oracle 9i database: Fundamentals I Exam

for clearing OCA

Could anyone please clear this confusion of mine..

According to Oracle's website (check it out), the required exams for OCA certifications are:

Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate: 1Z0-042 Oracle Database 10g: Administration I
Oracle9i Database Administrator Certified Associate:
1. 1Z0-007 Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL� OR 1Z0-001 Introduction to Oracle: SQL� and PL/SQL™
2. 1Z0-031 Oracle9i Database: Fundamentals I™
Oracle Application Server 10g Administrator: Certified Associate: 1Z0-311 Oracle Application Server 10g: Administration I
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate:
1. 1Z0-007 Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL� OR 1Z0-001 Introduction to Oracle: SQL� and PL/SQL™
2. 1Z0-147 Program with PL/SQL
Oracle Application Server 9i Web Administrator Certified Associate: 1Z0-301 Oracle9iAS: Basic Administration

So, all depends WHAT OCA path you're interested in.

I am currently working as a DB developer!!!1

I am planning to take up

Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate:
1Z0-001 Introduction to Oracle: SQL� and PL/SQL™
1Z0-147 Program with PL/SQL.

Could u guide me on the study material for d same!!!!

I hve gone through the oracle official site!!!

But the study material suggested eg. CDs, Books is quite expensive!!!!

And I am not sure which CD or book to buy!!!
