Guys,
I don't have Oracle client installed in my system. All that I've is Oracle instant basic packages and instant client ODBC.
Now,I want to create a database link to connect to Microsoft Access database residing in my system.(Heterogenous services).
Is it possible with just the instant client packages installed?
(Sometime back I came to know that It is not sufficient to only install Client Software, and it's required to have an Oracle Net Listener and the Heterogeneous Services (ORACLE_HOME\hs directory) software to be installed for Heterogenous connectivity.)
....Do I have an alternative to get my job done?

Thanks,
Bhagat
