hello
i have 2 databases A & B on 2 windows xp systems
from B i can connect to A using isqlplus but sqlplus never works
it returns the error ora-12535 time out
i checked sql.net file added connect_timeout=0 no luck
i edited tnsnames.ora to add the service A still not working
i can ping server A from B and vice versa but tnsping returns the same error
help is highly apprecaited

Both tnsnames.ora files need to know about each other's service name and port. After editing the tnsnames.ora files on both machines do > lsnrctl reload on both machines.

Then test the connection.
