Dear all,

Can anyone please help me how to receive emails from a pop3 server and store it into oracle database. I have installed JavaMail and javaBeans activation framework. Question is that what shall I do next.


I have seen about how to send mails from askTom.oracle.com but cannot find out anything about receiving mails from POP3 server.
and storing it into oracle database.

Please help

If you insist on poking yourself in the eye with a sharp stick, here is what can be used for that purpose.

I suspect that on a good day, you can only spell "POP3" and that you really will give up this pipedream very quickly.

Have a look at the Oracle Mail facility http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/oemail/index.html once the mail arrives you can use fairly standard PLSQL to programmatically perform workflow annotation, and email auto-forwarding and distribution.
