SQL Developer's free. Go to http://otn.oracle.com and download it.

Strictly speaking, would you call SQL Developer a "query builder tool?". I haven't played with it that much, but the cleverest thing I could get it to do was a "SELECT *" by dragging a table into a SQL. I think the OP is looking for a Discoverer-type tool, where you don't need to know SQL syntax.

P.S. Maarten, do you prefer "Master" or "Sir"? :;

Ross,

Maybe he prefers 'God'. 'Second order God' would be less egotistical, and 'God class 2' or 'God second order' flows better.

David

Upd: 'prefers' not 'perhaps'. Dumb fingers!

Green: In that case, wouldn't "Larry" suit me better?
Red: We have a new word of the day!

Isn't the almighty at OraFAQ called "Frank Naude"? http://www.orafaq.com/forum/images/message_icons/icon10.gif
