Hi,
I have to find a topic for projectfor my master degree conected with data bases. I'd think that it would be nice if it would be something with Oracle or MS SQL Server but not neccesarry with data warehouse. Maybe You have some ideas?

How about writing a thesis on the Touch count algorithm in Oracle and how it affects the LRU in the Buffer Cache? It's 'interesting'
Have you come up with any of your own ideas? They might be helpful for others to get a read on the type of topic you are interested in writing about.

I've post on this forum because here are people who could find some nice ideas. So i want something with data warehouse.i wolud like some nice not very hard but also something that I could learn with.

It's kind of a vague request. You want your thesis to have "something to do with Oracle". Do you mean you want to explore the ins and outs of security, performance tuning, grid control, ....?

meybe performance tuning but grid control is also interesting??

my friends told me something about database which is name timesten maybe something with this. but i would like to have something with data warehouse Smile
