I am trying to install CRS on windows but the installation does not continue beyond cluster configuration phase.

We are trying to install CRS on 2 server machines which are connected via private network.

The error message recieved is that the other node is not available or reachable. It also says that we need to verify and re-enter a valid public node name.

The nodes respond when they are pinged...so one thing is for sure there is no connectivity problem.

We have made an entry of the private node (i.e. IP mapping with host name) in the hosts file too.

Can anyone help me out?

I have got the soln for my problem.
Basically, we needed to enter only that particular node's public and private name...
