Hi,
we are planning to install oracle RAC 9i on suse Linux 8.2
The system size is supposed to reach 500 Gb at the end of 2007.

Now i'd like to use LTO ( 120 Gb) for the backup.
My Db will work 24h/24 . What is the best solution for my daily full backup ? ( export ? RMAN ? Ohter solaution )

If you already use such a system Please tell me your backup and recovery strategy.

Regards

Export is not a solution. It never was.
RMAN is most recomended.
And why do you need an everyday full backup?

Dear
Go for RMAN backup. perform incremental backup by writing rman scripts.

Thanks
