We have encrypted a column using DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT.TESENCRYPT ('data',key,outparameter) in Oracle 9i, later when the data was migrated to Oracle 8i. The front end application has stopped working as they are not able recognise the value encrypted
Kindly advice
