Hi all.
I've recently installed Oracle Financials.
I'm trying to run the front end.
a. How can I find out what's the URL the client needs to log on to in order to start the front end?
b. If I find the service isn't actually running, how can I run it?

Sorry for these most basic questions and thanks for your time.

I never installed Oracle Apps on WIN XP PRO. You will see lot of help on metalink. Usually weblink created for Oracle Apps is
http://<SERVER NAME>:8000 where 8000 is a port number. Give a try.
Go to control panel/Administrative tools/services in XP and check whether those Oracle service are there are not and running.

Thanks mate, it is port 8000 indeed.
I'm not trying to find the password out.
Any ideas?
I've tried SYSMAN/OEM_TEMP, SCOTT/TIGER, SYSTEM/MANAGER at no avail.
