When grant the references to a role, the error ora01931 occured.

How to deal with it?

But as the error says, it is not possible to grant UNLIMITED TABLESPACE, REFERENCES, INDEX, SYSDBA or SYSOPER privileges to a role. That needs to be granted to a specific user.
