Hello,
I am facing Problem in connecting Oracle8i client(Win98)machine to Server (Win2K)(Oracle8i) machine . Please guide me how should I try to establish connectivity between these 2 machines.

R u first time making the connectivity of ur system with server, if so then configure the tnsnames.ora parameters.
Else, if it is now only giving the problem, then possibly there may be network connectivity problem or the database on server may be dismounted.
