Hello!

I'd like to connect a machine with an oracle8.1 client to an oracle7.3.4 server via odbc...
the other workstations in the domain use an oracle7 client.
Do I have to change anything on the oracle server or is it possible to connect right away?

I'd be grateful if anyone could help.

According to the document in ORACLE_HOME/ODBC/ODBCRelnotes.wri you can.
