Hi

I installed Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 2 (8.1.6) on a PC with windows 2000 Profesional. Everything works good until I restart the PC. When I restart the PC, the service cannot start.

check your service---- settings > control panel > administrative tools > and check to see if service starts autmomatically.
that could be the problem.
