How do I transfer data from an MVS file directly to a Sun Oracle Database?

Hi,

Use TSO FTP (interactively) or JCL code as shown below:

//STEPNAME EXEC PGM=FTP
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN DD *
unix.host.name (EXIT=8
userid password
put 'MY.DATASET(MEMEBER) /tmp/unix.member.name
get 'MY.FILE.NAME' /tmp/unix.file.name
quit
/*
