How to mail two files as an attachment. [message #98518]

My requirement is to mail two files as an attachment to user by mail.
There is facility of mailx command in unix to send one file as an attachment.
Can anyone give me the command or script in unix to do so?

Be sure to send to different clients(e.g. Yahoo and Outlook). Attachments aren't always handled the same...

Hi Santosh..,

This works for me on both Sun Solaris and HP-UX:

uuencode path/file file | mailx -s"subject" -r reply-address recipient-address
