Hi,

I'm working in a AIX 5.1. I'm runnig a process that stop due to a system signal. I have this message:

'Stopped (SIGTTIN) .....'

I'm executing the process in backgroud and nohup mode.

What can be the reason of this stop???, When the signal SIGTTIN stop a process?. Any idea??

Any advice will be greatly apreciatted

Hi,

A process that cannot read from the user's terminal
while it is running as a background job, will get a
SIGTTIN signal.

Best regards.
