While installing oracle 9i under redhat linux I found an error when database was being created using database configuration assistant. The error message is
..........
ORA 03113 COMMUNICATION CHANNEL FAILED

How could I solve this problem.Please help.....
If possible give me the detail procedure.......

do not choose "create database at install time".
try to create database after installation.
